I'm going back and forth between the Warn VR8000 and the Smittybilt Gen 2 XRC 9500.

I found a good deal on the Warn, but I also found a good deal on the XRC. The Warn would be about $100 more.

I have the Smittybilt XRC winch bumper just to put that out there.

For only $100 different I'd go with the Warn.

X2

$100 isn't enough difference for a large investment like a winch IMHO, go warn.

Where are you finding the vr8000 for less than 500? I paid 299 shipped for my smittybilt 9.5k and it has worked flawlessly. I would recommend it to anybody buying a winch. Especially for 200 bucks cheaper

I guess you bought it at the right time then cause it's listed at 500 on quadratec's website.

Yeah, it's not anywhere near that price now. I found one at my tractor supply for $400 on sale.

Honestly, just got it recently and am in the middle of my build so it hasn't got any use, but I have zero worries about it. It's a Warn lol
