sloppy steering please help
I have a 88 comanche with a ten inch lift i just bought it. It didnt have sway bars when i bought it so i put them on. It still has a gud bit of body roll and the steeeing feels really sloppy just wondering wat could b wrong? The rear shocks arent on bc im waiting for the brackets to get here and u need to get a steering stablizer yet could this fix the problem? Any sugestion may help

You've got 23 year old rig and there's no way for anyone to know for certain what maintenance, if any, has ever been performed on the steering components.
Start with a thorough inspection of all of the TRE's and links. Look for slop and excessive play.

Lack of shocks would be one problem and what FrankZ said. With that much lift you will have some roll no matter what. Surprised you got sway bars to work at that height.

Stabilizer isn't going to help with body roll. It just makes the steering feel a little smoother. I haven't run one in years.
