Skyjacker 6 inch rock ready double flex
Any advice on going from skyjacker 6 inch double flex rock ready, to long arm. Will I get any more flex from going long arm? I feel like I’ve got great flex now, I’ve ditched the heims and went with Johnny joints. The skyjacker seems super strong, and haven’t had any trouble so far, don’t wanna mess up a good thing I’ve got going with my rig

long arms vs. short arms long arms always win the flex aspect yes it is true short can semi come close did you ever do a true rti ramo with a score

simply bolting on long arms does not equal more flex. the rock ready kit is actually a decent setup. i doubt you'd see much improvement over a long arm kit. you've replaced the worst part about that kit (the heims).

thanks guys, what would u call the lift I have? Is it considered a short arm, or is there such thing as a mid arm. Cuz the arms r further back and don’t use the factory control brackets. I don’t know if would be a drop bracket design ethier, it my mind it’s a cross between all three. Long arm, short and drop bracket. |
its a mid arm setup

You are better off with the mid-arms. Long arms often take a beating on trails since the are more exposed in the belly.
