Side Trim
My side trim is coming lose and instead of taping it back on i am considering taking it off. When i went to look at it noticed that previous owner had put screws in it. Would this require body filler and make look clean? Or does anyone else have suggestions?

Wowwww what a jerk to put self-tapping screws in to hold that ugly trim on. I gladly ripped mine off once it started peeling. It's going to look pretty bad with 2 holes in the door when you take that trim off. Place a sticker over it. Fixed lol

Some people.... geez!! A lil filler would probably be ok. Better yet spot weld and grind / sand smooth. I peeled all of mine, taped of the bottom 1/4, sanded everything up and shot it with bedliner.

Not only that, the screws look like they're starting to rust.
Don't know what condition your Jeep is in but if you want it to look good, you do realize you're gonna have to repaint the entire door after you bondo the holes.
Or you could get it spot painted by a body shop who could match the paint.
To do it right is gonna be a semi-major project.
Probably the best way to bondo it, would be to remove the door panel and if the holes are accessable from the rear, patch them from the rear first using screen mesh.
Then after that cures, fill the holes in from the front. Depending on how it turns out, might only need glazing putty there.
Another quick cheesy maybe not so good option is to buy some of those plastic snap-in insert rivets from the local auto store. Primer them first using a plastic primer and then paint them with touch up paint. It would end up looking like two painted rivets.
You'd have a unique looking door for sure! lol
Or you could buy those 'bullet hole' decals i see once in a while and put them right over the holes!
Cheap, quick, no bondo, no sanding, no painting and no work involved!

I would suggest taping off the bottom 6" or so of the side of the Jeep and bed liner it. Gives it a rugged look and solves the problem. Should be able to goop the bed liner in the holes to make them blend away.
