Hey guys. I'm looking into Rusty's 4.5" Spring Pack Lift Kit, Cragar Soft 8 15x8 wheels, and 32x11.50x15 BFG A/T KOs. I would like to see some pics of any wheels that you guys have with 4.00" backspacing, as I want to know how far the tires will stick out. Thanks!

Okay good to know. Here's a question: the smaller the number, the more the tires stick out - is it better (in regards to more flex and clearance) to get a lower number (therefore tires stick out more)? Thanks.

I personally like my jeep to be wide as it helps with stability on and off road (like in off camber situations or going around curves) but it all depends on your driving terrain i guess.

I'm running 15x8s with 4" of backspacing but I have full widths so they're going to stick out a bit more than yours.

15x8 with a 3.75 backspacing is the most common and stick out a little past the flares. im running 15x10's and it looked goofy with stock flares so i put bushwackers on. im not a fan of the roller skate I plan on dropping down to a 15x8 with 3.75 bs when i go up 2 more inches and put on 33's

This is 3" with 31's and 15x8 mickey thompsons with 3-1/2 backspacing and -13 offset. Ignore my super awesome blocks, however at least they are solid steel

This is about as much as i can stuff in the rear, its rubbing the flares on both sides and had to push the top of the flare out as it stuffed in. The front wont stuff whatsoever, tire hits the flare. However this wouldnt be a problem if i had bumpstops. I'd say go wide with bumpstops, uptravel is overrated anyhow

EDIT: sorry wrong pic..

I'm pretty sure I came up with 4" bs, and they're 15x8 (34x12.5 tire).

(Don't mind the decorations):

On 4-4.5" lift they don't stuff overly well, rather hit the body instead (they'll clearance themselves as mine have lol).

I've got 4" bs. Ill post pics tomorrow. IMO 15x8 on 4" bs is best. With 4" bs the mounting surface is in the center of the wheel, putting the least ammount of stress on the ball joints. If you go over or under that, it puts more stress on the ball joints and can wear them out faster. Same goes for 15x10 with 5" bs, etc. Mounting surface is centered.

Here are my M/T 15x8 with 3.75 BS with a 3" lift and 33x 10.5

And same tire / wheel after powder coating and 6" lift. Without the flares. The Pennsylvania 5-0 did not like me at all. Hence the bushwhackers.

They're tuck just inside with the 10.5. If I go 12.5. They'll be even with flare.
