Default Should i lift?

I have a 2000 xj with 80700 miles and I'm thinking about lifting it... Is it worth it? How big of a life? What tires? Looking to spend under 2k

I am a rubicon express vendor and have owned/built 8 cherokees over the past few years. I'd be glad to give you my opinions and save you some money

What are you trying to accomplish with it? Rocks? Mud? Sand? Rack? Racing? Looks? Expedition? Jack of all trades? The truth is that there is not a "best" anything for everything.

But yes... you should definitely do some kind of lift and 2k is a great start!

Decide what size tires you want to run and go from there

Better yet, decide on what kind of wheeling you are going to do and then build your rig accordingly....and Welcome to C.F!

Yeah a few things you need to think about first,Like how you will use it?Will it be a daily driver that can go off road on the weekends,Or do you want a more off road only jeep. That type of off road matters also,You have mud you have trails you have rock crawling and you have sand.Last is budget and are you do the work yourself or are you paying a shop?
