Short armed 3 link??
This may be a dumb question, but i have adj short arms & ive been readin up on a long armed upgrade. Im thinkin bout doin a 3 link & so i thought to myself, wouldnt i get better flex simply by removing an UCA & then just beefing up the mount on the other??

That would mess with your caster angle. If you look at most of the long arm kits they have another bar or brace going to the top of the axle to keep the caster angle under control.

Well rockkrawlers 3 link long arms seems like the same idea, minus one arm...?
And not to forget a nicely setup trac/panhard bar is an obvious need.

to the OP please make sure that if you do this you use the driveshaft side
or if you MUST use the passenger side make sure you add a truss and beef the heck outta that mount
also you might want to bore out your upper control arm bushing, both frame side and axle side to accept a larger bolt... at the very least you would want to use a grade 8 bolt

My bad, went back and reread original post. Thought it said remove UCAs but it said just one. So I stand corrected. As long as you have at least one attaching to the top you should be fine.
