Default Shocks.....

I was wondering if i could get some opinion's on what shocks you all think i should run on my XJ, I am running a 10" lift with long arm's

Why in the hell so high?? And what axles? Just use stock shocks, double them up and ziptie them together then bolt em up!

WTF? ummm... piggy back reso's for monster trucks might work? might need to take out a second morgage to get them though.

why so ....cause I can.... 8.8 in the rear and d30 up front...and there is no way stock shocks would even come close to being long enough but thanks for the help..NOT

Longest I could find when I was looking for my rear was 36" extended. Pro comp es3000. But seriously why so high? What do you use it for

I would try those pro comes with bpe's and extenders on the top side if you need it. That would get you close...The 36" I think are for 6" lift, I don't know about the length but 6" list are the longest I've found. With bpe's I'm sure there are full size shocks that can be used. Might have to fab up a top mount. Yore going to have to get creative.... there are a couple guys on here running similar lift. Hopefully they'll chime in.

thanks i will look at them ..... cause i am planning on running my 38x9.50 swampers i have in the shop.....out here we don't have the rocks and trails you all have, we have nothing but mud runs

yes i will be using them.... I will fab my own out of soild stock and machine them down as needed ..... on good thing about being a fabricator and having access to a full machine shop as well

Ya. I would be in the same boat. Got laid off a year ago after 6 years on the job. I miss having access to the machine shop and material suppliers. I still have a shop with a welder drill press grinder belt sanders etc... no mill or lather though.

damn man i am sorry to hear that.... i have alot of my buddies out of work here to but our shops in the area are starting to pick up slowly.... we all work in structual steel
