Shock Suggestions for a 3.5" Lift
Need some suggestions for a new set of shocks on my 99. Currently have OME's with 29k miles on them…and I popped the top off one of the rears on the highway.
Any suggestions? Not overly impressed with the EMU's.

Honestly I got some of those hydro 7000's from rancho and they are not bad for the price. I think they were like 30 bucks a piece. Definitely nothing like bilsteins but they work if you're on a budget

I ended up going with a set of the 5100's (but only for the back). Not gonna get them installed until I can get some new leafs installed since my AAL w/2" blocks were only sitting at 1.5" of lift in the back (I think that may be why I blew the top off one of the EMU shocks in the back). Gonna keep the EMU's up front for now. Serious, y'all have some quick shipping. Literally showed up in 2 days.

My dad got them installed a few weeks ago and told me I may need to get fronts now, but I haven't seen the XJ since he picked up the shocks but I'll check things out on 4th. Just sent my roommate over to serious as well…

make sure your measuring the shock ext collapsed lengths.... they shouldn't limit susp in either direction.
