Default Shifter lever

Is it possible to get just a shifter lever aftermarket and not the whole shift kit? I'm looking for more back angle (towards back of jeep) and probably shorter. This is going to help me in designing my custom dash. Has to clear the parking break so maybe shorter, both in height and distance back.

Lol all good... I might just hack my shifter apart and reweld it at the angle I want. Couldn't be that hard right?

Sure thing. Just googled Hurst for an ax15 just for the heck of it. Hurst does make GOOD stuff that's worth the price.

I had one of those on my last XJ and loved it. Will be getting another one for my current XJ. Just be warned, it makes it a bit on the notchy side when shifting since it is a short shifter.

97+ Longer Reach Shifter

Being 6'3" I have my seat back beyond stock so it was always a awkward reach forward to change gear with the stock shifter. To save fuel and wear and tear on the auto I always shift into neutral when waiting at the lights.

Fail. While it might save a tiny bit of gas, there is no wear on the trans while stopped in gear and is wear when shifting it.
