Default Shackle relocation question

Hi I have a 98 5 inch lift Cherokee. I'm going to be making shackle relocation since the PO had them at 90 degrees. In my crappy schetch which way should I put shackes move them towards the green one or should I move it towards the blue I know ideal is 45 degrees but Wich way. Then moving thenm will it rotate my pinion up or down. It doesn't have sye yet they are in the cart just saving money to get drive shaft. First pic is of Jeep then shackle

Shackle at 90 degrees

Red where is at now.

So when doing the location you want to move shackl on the holes towards front of Jeep. Now doing that will that rotate pinon up or down

You want them angled towards the rear, it has very little effect on pinion angle.

It depends on if your relocation adds height or doesn't. Pushing the back of the leaf spring away from the body tilts the pinion up, moving it closer to the body tilts it down, but really shims should be used to correct pinion angle and not height of shackles.

Oh i know im just wondering if it was going to affect it. I got alot to fix correctly that the PO did not do. drivlines crazy vibration needs slip yoke. wanted to do shackles first since it will move my height. so i wont get a wrong shaft. then adjust pinions. thank you for the info

If you make your own make them tie into your hitch bolts. RC boxes are known to rip out the stock boxes due to forces with no real support.

I have seen quite a few people running the no lift relocation brackets.

I'm using OME CS033RA springs with JKS Boomerang shackles.
I was going to install the relocation brackets, but everything is currently sitting right where it needs to be.
