Default Shackle Relocation Bracket / Rear Disconnect

I'm starting to think of what to do with the rear of my xj but I have no plans for a lift but would like to increase flex and ride..

I currently have new stock springs, Bilstein shocks and 1" Boomerang Shackles. I have also added a tomken gas tank skid, solid axles diff. cover and have plans for a truetrac since I have an ARB front and I would like a posi-rear for snow, ice and wet roads.

Would there be any advantages of adding shackles relocation brackets with my current set up?

Is there a kit for rear sway bar disconnects?

What other options would you suggest for the rear of the vehicle?

rear sway bar??? Take it off. Then maybe find a no lift shackle relocator.

What is the advantage and would it be a consideration on a no lift vehicle, that's what I'm trying to find out.

Then maybe find a no lift shackle relocator.

not a no lift. but should have an even better out come for you because you already have longer than factory shackles. Or get these and lift 1.5" or so up front and have a mean Low COG little rig. I would love to have be sitting on 35's right now with 4" of lift but my budget.... you know....

Go with a no lift style relocation bracket. Using a regular bracket adds an 1" of lift and get stretch and bend leaf springs.

A relocation bracket helps shackle angle. When I had stock springs, extended shackles and relocation brackets, I had some great flex with the rear tires. Looked dumb as hell cause the leafs were bending some and any weight would bow the leafs. So happy I don't run that setup no more

These are the best no lift relocation brackets. Does require some drilling and plating in the cargo area though. http://hdoffroadengineering.myshopif...ation-brackets

Thank you for the direction.....I'm reading up on them now. It seems as if this will be a great addition to my build.

See the key to my build is I'm doing a sleeper rolling on 29's but with an arb front, detroit rear, front sway bar disconnects, good under vehicle protection, frame stiffeners, and the best flex & articulation I can get.

I want that did you see that guy in that stock Cherokee...
