Settling of add-a-leaf. Experiences?
I've got this in my stock spring pack, and it seems stout. It gave me exactly 3 inches of lift and everything has been fine. I lifted the front 2.5 inches in anticipation of the rear settling.

My ride is fine with no vibes and feels solid with the rear appearing just a touch higher. It's not extreme and only if you study it close do you really notice it. Full new leafs are definitely in the future when budget permits and I've had no sag or settling of the springs since installing this, which I know add-a-leafs will eventually do over time. I don't haul a lot of heavy cargo and rarely tow anything. Just curious what kind of time frame have any of y'all experienced with an add-a-leaf settling down?

I have a single, long AAL from Fat Bob's in my stock pack. At first it was close to a full three inches. It has been about two months and it has settled down to nearly equal with my front where I installed a two inch coil spacer. I hope it's done lol.

I had a Rough Country 3" AAL that worked very well for about three years before it decided to sag to about 2" of lift. I didn't mind it until about two more years later it was at 1.5". I have since replaced that leaf with a 3.5" Rusty's leaf. This one has been on now for a year and it has not budged a bit from 3.75". For the price of it, I am very satisfied. I think I paid $59 for the pair.

Whenever people ask about AALs we need to link them to this page. Post after post of success when all anyone ever has to say is "SAGGGG".

Well like I mentioned my first set did sag quite a bit, but that was over a few years. The one I have now I feel is better quality so it could be a game of hit or miss. If I had the preference I would go a full pack because of the amount of time that it is going to last and the ride. I don't mind my AAL and it does what I want it to but it does have drawbacks.

I have a 2" pro comp AAL that has been on my Jeep for 4 years with my 3" pro comp coils. Now with my full size spare, bumper, etc it is sagging bad enough that my rear tires are rubbing. Switching to RE 3.5" front and rear full leafs.
