Default Serious DW , Please help with ideas!!

I have been dealing with a very nasty DW situation on my 92 ever since i did a junkyard lift and 35's. Its almost got progressively worse. I have a full s10 pack in the rear with shackles. front is f150 coils and 3inch spacers. this is mostly a trail rig . I dont care about ride quality, just need to do 50mph without white knuckling it!!!

Front end is tight!!! New wheel bearings, Upper control arm bushings, tie rod ends, drag link end, RC track bar with drop bracket. I tried adding another stabilizer to just make it driveable even though i know Its a HUGE bandaid. steering box is not broke, etc(but it is leaking like all hell!)

I lengthened the stock lca's via a chart i found online. I tried another set of wheels, and just bought another set of wheels. It hasnt helped any. Whenever i get close to 35-40 on the dash it goes crazy. When i hit a bump it sets it off also. I tried various toe settings also adding or removing shims behind the lcas. No i never got a real alignment yet.

Heres some pics. Is there anything that you could reccomend. I know the lift i did is real hokey, but i think i could atleast get it to not death wobble???

Check the track bar mount to the frame and also, maybe your alignment is out... Also those tires suck big time ( no pun at all man ) they are huge and heavy. Maybe youre picking up alot of road slop and its transferring into the tires.

big time. just think of that shopping cart with the bent caster wheel. that thing flops around like crazy.

first thing i would do is replace that steering box, this way you can inspect that area for any weak spots.

then check your ball joints, control arm bushings and tie rod ends.
then do a driveway alignment using a tape measure and simply choose a tread block at the peak of the tire curve and measure from tire to tire at front of tires, then measure back of front tires using the same tread blocks, you should be between 0 to 1/8 inch toe in, or wider at the back of tires.

also, if you dropped your track bar mount, you will need to drop your pitman arm about the same amount. you want these to be at the same parallel.

assuming your tires are balanced and in good shape including no crowning or cupping...

good luck

I set the toe to 0 in the driveway just before with a tape, and now i can get it up to at least 40 with no problems! I hit a bunch of bumps at speed and still good!!! Upwards to 40 i can feel the wheel starting to shake back and fourth but it wasnt dw. Im going to get an alignment and have the front tires rebalanced. Just wanted to update you guys!

toe-in should be 1/16 to 1/8" regardless of tire size.
