SE Va, NE NC Where to get gears set up?

Hopefully this isn't the wrong section. I'm looking for a place who can set up gears on an XJ D44 without beating me to death on price. I'll be supplying the gears, and master install kit.

Looking in Northeast NC, or Southeast Virginia (VB, Chesapeake, etc)

I did mine myself. First set of gears I've done, got 5000 miles or so on them. I'm not confident enough in my ability to offer to set yours up. But I will say it's not too bad if you get the right tools and take your time.

Well. I don't have the dial indicator. And there's another thing I can't remember that I don't have. Luckily, the axle is sitting on jack stands, and not on the Jeep. I'll keep looking for now for someone who can do it. However, I may give up and try it myself.

You need a dial indicator and an inch pound torque wrench, beam or dial type. The torque wrench can be had on Amazon for $15-$20 and a cheap dial indicator can be had for about $30.

I pretty much just bought everything I need. Wish me luck.

Good luck. It's easy work, especially since it is out of the vehicle and can be put on the work bench.
