i just got my 2nd jeep fixed the other day its a 2000 xj 5 inch lift. when i got it the driver side upper control arm was broke in half and the pass side control arm axle bracket was broke so i got two new up graded upper control arms from rustys offroad and welded the stock bracket back together is that safe

i would personally buy a new mount and weld it on. using the same one that ripped off, pretty much is setting yourself up for disaster. the metal is already weakend from being ripped off.

i've never heard of any heavy duty upper control arm mounts. lots of lowers tho.
what i would do, is get a set of rubicon express control arm drop brackets and install those. they have integrated upper and lower brackets that will help in more ways than one.
they should be just fine using your welded/repaired damaged stock upper mount.

ya i kno how to and where to find them but this lap top is all messed up and cant go on tosome of those web site it sucks
