Default rustys, rough country, or RE????

Finally scrapping the budget boost on Megatron and going to a 4.5" kit with leaf packs. I've looked at the rustys and rough country 4.5" lifts and the RE 3.5" lift ( heard its closer to 4.5" ). My budget is $1,000 and with that I need everything including shocks and shipping but if I can come in under that its more $$$ towards a front locker. I've done a ton of searching on here but I'm still not sure what i wanna go with. I appreciate your opinions and please include any pros and cons you can think of. Thanks.

Oh my goodness... This has been hashed out SO much.

Personally I would go with RE. I just think their quality is a little better than RC or Rustys. I'm currently running RC and am very happy with their customer service. Their 4.5' leaf packs are short though. It creates bad shackle angle but can be corrected with shackle relocation brackets but that's more money. They do stretch a bit over time. I've had mine on for about 3/4 of a year and its gotten better but still isn't great.

Go with the best deal, your never going to get an answer until you try them yourself. Everyone has different luck with products so who ever has the cheapest most complete kit jump on it and start wrenching!!!!

I personally went with RE, and I have totally banned everything Rusty's (I, like several others, have had some serious quality/customer service issues with Rusty's in the past).

x2. These 3 companies get compared all the time and everyone will give you a different answer. I've experienced all 3 companies in action - whether driving or riding (myself with Rusty's, Red82 with RC, and ColinJohns with RE) - and can honestly say you won't find much difference between how well the lifts work. Each do a great job. RC has slightly lower prices and good customer service. Re has higher prices and from what I've heard, good customer service. Rusty's is in the middle on price and - in my experience - has good customer service. Basically, write down all three on a piece of paper, close your eyes and put your finger on the paper. Whichever one you land on go with.

Rustys or re bro hands down. Personally re and rc tend to be more expensive.

Rustys may be cheaper but their shipping is through the roof.

Unfortunately yes. A $430 kit that ends up costing $600 due to shipping. Pretty ridiculous.

Thanks for all the comments, looks like I'm gonna scrap rustys from my list. I know to call Jason for the best price on RC but is there anyone that offers a discount on RE? Basically its between these two now and its gonna be about price. Obviously I know the RE is gonna be more expensive but if i can't get what I need under my budget ill just go with RC.

I just realized that the RE kit doesn't come with a trac bar. Is it not necessary? People are saying they're getting close to 4.5" out of that kit, isn't an adjustable trac bar needed for that amount of lift?
