Rusty's leaf packs?
my driver side leafs are done. 2 years of 3.5 aal, 2'' blocks and spacers have completely distressed the leaf pack and my jeep is leanign badly.
so going to have to purchase new leafs. going with 6.5''.
anyone have any experience with rustys spring packs?
ive heard bad things about rc's leafs.
and seeing as i have rubicon express' leafs right now, dont know if i want another set lol.
these are the ones im looking at, price tag is decent.... even though i have no money, im gonna have to find a way to buy them.

I just talked to a local rep for for rc and am getting 4.5 packs for 180$. Plus shipping.
Seem like a good price.
Got to thinking, 6.5 leafs would sit to high, and I would have to replace my 4.5 coils and spacer to 6.5 to.
in the end, it woukd make my 33s look small. so 4.5 is a happy medium.

just for reference, I have rustys 6.5" packs. date on them is 2008. bushings were shot 2 years ago. with a stock shackle, they had about 2" off lex. I pulled to leafs and added a 1" shackle and they work awesome, but not so much out of the box.
Its better you went with the 4.5" anyway. if you want to go higher, you can add a shackle, which is only going to make it flex better anyway.

you get better flex and articulation out of a smaller pack and shackles...on my old jeep i had rusty's 3" leafs loved them my buddy has 4.5" on his loves them and on my new jeep i got the shackle kit and leaf pack instead of doing full size leafs and so far very impressed...in my personal opinion and anyone i wheel with Rusty's is the best there is
