i bought an xj for a grand as a beater jeep. it’s rusty but runs great, it isn’t meant to be pretty. the spot welds in the rear fender were completely rusted through in some spots, so when i cut the rear fenders to bend back, it was obviously separated. should i completely cut them out at weld up new wheel wells? is there any other options?
