Rugged Ridge XHD Off Road Reclining Seat #13448.15
Just got a set in black, installed with brackets and was too high, hit head on headliner and seemed offset and not centered.
Pulled off the brackets and installed the stock XJ base/sliders studs into holes in the seat and tightened the nuts. Much better. Lower, centered, comfy and supportive.
Not bad for $525 free shipping, no tax and rebate.

I thought about getting that one but I am buying the Rugged RidgeŽ - XHD Ultra Seat in black denim with the head rest, and then I'm getting the rear seat reupholstered with the same material to make the seats look like they belong for $150. Plus I have a junkyard that has a 2 door xj with perfect interior that is a charcoal color and I plan to pull the newer style doors to match so I have the newer style switches Good lead on aligning the seats as well, I'll have to remember that when I put mine in after getting all my floor pans re-done.

Even without the 'adapter' brackets which are about 1", the seats sit about 1" higher than stock and you don't sink down like worn padding stock seats. Adjusting/tilting them back helps but you do sit higher than stock. 6'3" I wouldn't get them. I'm 6'0" and son is 5'10".
IDK about ZJ/WJ seats, they might sit lower.

What do you think about them? Comfort? Ease of getting in/out?
I've looked at these but I think I'm going to go with the corbeau recliners...

Comfortable, well bolstered, bolt to the stock XJ adjustable mounting track.
I don't think that the Corbeau will bolt directly to the XJ hardware. Adapter extra $ and adds height. Maybe I am wrong.
