rubicon express swaybar disconnect question
Hey, thanks in advance for replies.
I ordered rubicon express disconnects (part number 1170) threw work, a GM dealership. Needless to say, they have no idea about jeeps in the parts department. After they ordered them for me i searched the part number and it said that i needed an adapter bracket. Has anyone bought these, and can confirm this? I dont wanna order something i dont need, or can make easily. Thanks!

The re1170 is for cj/yj.
The re1140 is for the xj/zj/tj.
don't know how you could get the 1170 ones to work on an xj.

I would call up rubicon express and ask, their support is actually pretty good.
Worst case you can get the go-ahead to test fit on your XJ to see if it fits, and if not - return it

I went to the rubicon express site. It does say the re1170 can be used on an xj if you also buy the re1171 adapters.
