Rubicon Express lift, do i need new coils and leafs?
I've been considering the RE 2 inch basic lift with AALs. People say AALs ride like **** but it's a Jeep, it always rides like ****. I like the RE package because it comes with new shocks, too. My XJ is a '93 but it only has 87k miles, so if I get this lift do I need new coils up front and a new leaf pack in the back or will the shocks be fine without? My leafs aren't sagging too badly, they're about 16.5 inches from fender to center-hub. The front is 17 inches. I'd never lift more than 2 inches and am also considering just 2" spacers up front and a 2" shackle in the back to save money. the RE shocks seem like a better option though... advice?

Personally, If all you want is a 2" lift I'd log on to ebay, buy some generic poly spacers for the front and a set of basic shackles and move your trac bar over a smidge.
That cost 75 bucks.. That still leaves you with enough dough to pick up a nice set of shocks.
