Default Rubicon 4 1/2" lift vibration

So I bought a 1998 XJ with a this lift already installed. Been having vibration problems with it now and have narrowed it down to the "SYE" The spindle or hub that attaches to the end of the transfer case seems very loose on the splines. Anyone know where to buy a good one ?

That's a Rubicon Express Hack & Tap Flange.

RE is closed until at least August.

Have you checked the mounting bolt to make sure it's tight?
How about the lock-ring? Is it still in place?

Ya bolt is tight and the washer and lock ring are present. I can move the flange 1/4" or more up and down. Originally thought the u joint / dbl cardand was loose. Cant wait till august for Rubicon to figure out what there doing...

Ok so i decided to give Rubicon a call and see if they would sell me the flange. The fellow I talked to confirmed they had the part in stock but they couldn't sell me one till August. I explained to him that this is my daily driver and need it to go to and from work. He still said he couldn't sell me the item.

Im not sure about you guys, but I doubt I will ever support a company that cant, wont or are unwilling to help a customer.

Not good business as far as im concerned..........

Because of ownership changes there are limits to what the employees can and can't do. Some of the issues have to do with specific dates that the various accounts (Shipping, insurance, liability, etc) become effective.

They are a great company. When there is legal issues parts for company's get frozen til it all gets figured out. Majority of people knew a few months ago that they got closed down and found out recently about august. It's not the customer service fault this happened to the company he or she works for. They are just as frustrated as you I bet since they not making any money right now

are you sure the whole shaft isnt moving up and down? if so the bearings are worn out. are you sure that the bolt hole hasnt gotten wallowed out which will happen with hack n tap kits. iron rock offroad sells a hack n tap kit with the shaft for 200 bucks.
