Didn't say his statement was wrong or right just making a point that I personally think their products are garbage and have seen them fail on more than one occasion. Your statement came off like you were saying the guy had no right to say a track bar can cause death wobble. If their tre is known to wear faster than normal it could in fact cause death wobble so his statement could be true and to him it was. I'd love to support a buisness in my home state but after all I've seen I can't do it.

80% of the jeep guys around here are running rough country lifts without any issue. After 3 years of abuse I had 1 shock fail.. thats it. So no, its not complete garbage

Does CF make a commission off every RC kit sold?

if you ever voyage out of cf to other jeep forums you will find out that, yes, they are garbage

LOL. I guess I must have been one of the lucky few that got a good one.

Im not trying to say RC is the cats pajamas, in the end you DO get what you paid for. But for what I paid, its worked fantastic and been problem free for the past 3 years with exception of 1 shock absorber

Call Ruff Stuff and replace your RC heim with one of theirs.

Ok, so the bolt that mounts the track bar to the axle housing... The hole in the housing that the bolt goes through is actually bigger than the bolt used. It's NOT a snug fit.

If that bolt is tight but not tight enough, it's going to move back and forth. I had this problem with my JKS Track Bar which is said to be one of the better brands you can buy. It's not the track bar that's the problem, it's the bolt hole on the XJ that's the problem.

Your specific issue may end up being different, but look into this.

Lay down and have someone crank the wheel back and forth. Is the axle end of the track bar moving where it's supposed to be mounted? Is the bolt moving too? There's your problem.

I tightened mine down a bit more and it's not moving like it was, but I have no doubt it's going to loosen up. Not sure of a permanent fix for this, aside from welding a new piece on the axle housing with a smaller hole drilled in it.

Alright. Let us know. Just by looking at it, its beefier. Just grease it after you install it and grease them regularly.

Same thing with mine. I replaced mine when I installed my lift and within 8 months of city driving the TRE was shot. Called RC and they gave me a MOOG part number and the MOOG TRE is beefier.
