Rough country leaf springs
So I just received my 4.5 inch rough country lift, and I have to say the leaf springs look really rough and crappy. Some leafs are crooked and it has a big Made in China sticker on the back. The rough country name is nowhere on the springs. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Here is a quote from a naxja member.
So after 1 month I start to hear a weird rubbing. I check everything out and find that the front bushings have slid off the leaf and the eyes have opened up. The main leaf was rubbing on my unibody. Rough Country sends me a new set. Awesome. Cause the first set look like some Chinese steel tar-coated knockoff with a rough country STICKER as an only branding. Now I have to re-install them. So I did. Luckily new ones looked the part. They had proper RC stamping and looked to be a better quality. |
:ninja: well played

Eh it's what I can afford. If future problems arise I'll definitely call rough country but until then I'll try not to worry about it too much

Before you install!!! Please loosen the center pin and straighten all leafs and degree shim and tighten the pin back up, bought a yj kit and all 4 springs the center pins were about finger tight. After that no problems over a year

Thanks for the advice I will definitely do that because some of the springs are crooked which I was really worried about

Most should understand cost factor well and RC does honor their warranty as a local dealer of 6 different kits told me.
