You should tell them to stick their bushings where the sun don't shine. Who cares if you're not the original purchaser...You are the current user of their product, so you should be entitled to buy replacement parts for their product...That is if they want you to continue using their product. No consumer loyalty means less business in the future, which is a crap business decision on their part.
I called them thursday for a set of replacement joints and they're sending them for free. Like you mentioned, though, I am the original purchaser of this lift... I plan on giving them one more chance to show me their product is sound, and then I'm going to buy Johnny Joints if the RC replacements are crap. Then I will never buy another product from RC...Period. But I feel your pain, and I would encourage you to go ahead and spend the money for quality joints now and save yourself the cost of multiple RC joint rebuilds and alignments.

RC only warranties to the original owner because they can track to see how long you've actually had them. Bushings are a wearable item. If you bought a 3 year old lift kit that someone beat the hell out of, why should they warranty it? Everybody would have a new lift then.

The problem was that RC wouldn't even sell him new bushings b/c they claim to be holding them for original purchasers only...It shouldn't matter who bought it originally if you're paying for replacement bushings.

When I bought my lift, you couldn't buy the bushings. You could only buy replacement arms. The bushings were not availbale on the website to purchase and don't believe they have been added for sale. I guess they are keeping them for replacements like a dealership would do for recalls?
Sorry to the OP for having these problems. I myself have always had great service with RC. I'll be buying their parts for life. Or as long as I need them.

There bushings are crap and old..
So I have been noticing this really weird movement in my front end lately. Thought it was something to do with my brakes cuz it only happens in reverse when applying the brakes an letting off. If you sit an play with the brakes you can make it do it constantly. Well yesterday I had someone back it up while I watched. The whole axle rocks back and forth!!!! Sure enough the control arms have about a 1/4" north/south play in them. I just put this lift on at the end of march and the bushings where slammed packed with grease. I called rough country today and they said they would have some more in a couple days. Thats wonderful and I appreciate them sending me some more but its been less than 4 months! I have heard them tell stories about bad batches of bushings but does anybody know if this is true or just something thats said? I mean I have heard a lot of people say this same thing. Has anybody actually got any that last? Or found a way to make them last? I just dont wanna have to rebuild control arms every 4 months. Its daily driven but only been wheeled 3 times since its been on. any help on this would be great.
