Roof Rack! I need ideas. Don't have a roof rack. Looking at maybe ladder rack like on vans for ladders. Utility style not really looking carrying type for off reading.

Work in progress, bed frame, some old shelving units, and some 3/16's so far, gonna use some 1/8 for the gutter clamps and get some tube bent for the upper hoop...

Hardest part is figuring out the gutter clamps, this I what I came up with, on a bolt it too the part sitting in the gutter and call it a day. I have 8 mounts total so it should hold without issue

Cheapest and easiest thing in the world is to grab some pallet shelving. It's incredibly cheap ($15-$35) and has a weight limit of 3,000 lbs.
I bought a 46x48 shelf and mounted it on my Yakima crossbars. It doesn't get any easier & with a 3,000 lb rating you can put anything you want up there. It's also the least bulky rack I've seen.

Amazon has a rack for 117 bucks, and it's expandable. You can't build a rack for less then that.
