Default Roof console

I thought I'd submit a photo of the roof console I made out of plywood to house my UHF and somewhere to stash maps and stubby holders and stuff.

However,it would look better if it were grey or the headliner was camo'ed.

Looks good, but I really like the right hand steering.

It mounts by using the interior light mounting points and the central locking sensor mounting points about the rear view mirror.
I'll post some more pic's tomorrow.

Here is a couple more pics. I will be doing the head lining in camo also.
You can also see my rod holder in the rear speaker bar in the last photo.

I've used the mounting points for the interior light and the c/locking sensor by screwing a small section of wood against the headlining then screwed the console onto the wood to fit it.

Factory ones are very hard to find over here in Australia. I just decided to design and make my own.
