Default Rola Rack Installed

Installed a Rola Rack #59504. Thought I'd post a few photos for reference. Strong rack for the money.

I like the low profile.

Really nice looking. Is there a spare tire mount for it? Also, does it mount to the crossbars?

The rack does mount to the crossbars. I've seen gutter mounts fabricated pretty easily to fit this rack. It's plenty sturdy for my purposes, camping and kayak equipment.

I don't know of a tire mount for it. I would just throw it up there and use a couple of ratchet tie downs.

Looks good. I think I might pick up the same one. BTW - Did you have your vehicle painted flat black or rattle canned?

Do you get any wind noise from it?

Satin paint job, not rattle canned.

No difference in noise level w/ rack.

How wide is the inside of the basket? Would a 35" tire fit between the racks rails?

I like the paint job. I've been considering that myself and now after looking at your rig I'm going to get mine painted!

Been running a Rola for 2 years. Love it. Carries my spare, gas can, shovel and water can. The only thing is it is so short, I bought a Carr light bar for roof fogs.

Do you mean short in length or height? They sell an extension that will fill out the entire roof if you have long rails.

Very well. I've removed the wind deflector but I'm gonna put it back, it really does help with noise. Also probably gonna buy the extension soon...
