Rock sliders
Anybody have any rock sliders they really recommend? Looking for a decent priced setup that will offer good protection and won't break.

have you looked into a 2x6x3/16 rocker replacement? thats what i would have done if i had welder access

I'm looking at getting rigidco sliders. Was on the fence between them and 2x6 rockers but it seems bolt on sliders in the end are better (money and work wise).

I scored a brand new set of Rusty's sliders from my local Craigslist for $200. I'll post an update when I get them installed.

I have bent the crap out of the set of Rusty's I bought. I am going to the rocker replacement and eventually a full boatside.
The AJ's are the only bolt on sliders for an XJ that I have seen take abuse and not flex at all. I have destroyed two sets in two years, with the Rusty's flexing up and bending my rocker. No happy with them at all...

There is a set of Jcr sliders near me on craigslist that are already powder coated black for 400$. Is that a pretty good deal?

Another vote for the 2x6 sliders. They are in the sub $100 range and can be installed in about 3-4 hours for both sides. They are stronger than anything else you can possibly buy and bolt to your jeep.

I forgot to mention those were the crusader series sliders from JCR. I believe they are 450 bare steel and these are 400 already powder coated. I don't wheel that often though and I'm honestly not really sure what the 2x6 look like.
