Robber stopper in non-oem gas tank
Hey!
Bought a fuel tank from jeep4x4center and it looked good and all that, except on the fuel pump it has a rubber stopper that, I guess is supposed to hold it level when the pump is in the tank.
In my old rusty fuel tank it has a "bump" where I guess the stopper can rest on, but the new tank doesn't. Won't that put a strain on the wired etc connecting the pump?
Fyi; this is the tank I bought http://www.jeep4x4center.com/gas-tan...-83502633.html

Just to clarify; the little stopper rest on a piece of metal that is in the bottom of the OEM tank - but that piece is missing from the new tank i got from jeep4x4center....
And since i can't get my hand to feel below the stopper (to check if it's touching the bottom) i'm worried that it will damage the pump fittings etc on the inside with it just hanging like that.
