Default Rim sizing

Hey guys, this this is my first post here.

I need help figuring out the sizing for my next set of rims. I got procomp atr 31X10.5's recently, though it looks like the tread goes almost an inch over the rim. The problem is it's pinching the tread so the tires aren't wearing evenly. I currently have Cragar 9 inch wide rims, and they are old and rusted up so I was planning on getting new rims anyway. Will 15X10 with a 3.75 backspacing fit okay with my 4.5 lift? Pic related, its my xj with the cragars and procomps.

I wouldn't run a 15x10 on a tire only 10.50 inches wide. A 15x8 would be better

X2 go 15x8 for that tire size...

I have Pro Comp series 51 gloss black wheels and love them

Keep that back spacing... No less than 4"

Weird, i measured out my rims to 9 inches wide the other day, but your all saying 15X8's work fine. Yet the tires I have now still don't fit them right. I've had multiple technicians say they are too small. I don't understand how that happens.

When you measure the rim the actual size is the width of the inner bead, not the full rim. Promise you a 15x8 is what you need with a 10.50 tires. 4" or less backscpacing

This. A 15x10 is too wide for a 10.50. Hell the section width of most 12.50's aren't even 10". A 7" rim is great for 10.50's bc you can air down a lot, but an 8" will be good too
