Alright here in the near future, im taking the step into ripping out the interior, rhino lining the floor, caging the interior with either a EOC Jeepspeed cage or custom built Jimmy Smith cage, and some mastercraft/corbeau race seats with 5 point harnesses

my question is about the shifter boot/plastic on the automatic...i was thinking about doing what the rustys guys did with their orange XJ, using a manual transmission boot out of what looks like a YJ (using my knowledge of my buddies, thats what it looked like)...could I simply find a manual transmission boot and plate, make new holes and bolt it into place?
