Replacing the seats on a Renix
I've got an 89 Renix Laredo. Looking to get some new seats, something like PRP. How does one go about replacing them and making the new brackets work? From what I've heard, it's a rather difficult process. Are there any bolt-in solutions?

I agree, Corbeau makes really nice seats. I like their Sport Seat. However, for the early-year Cherokees, re-use your seat mounts, and get their adapter rather than their seat mounts.

Their seats tend to sit kind of high and the adapter will only exacerbate this issue by essentially adding a spacer between the mount and the seat. There's not a big difference in price between the adapter and the full mount, if I remember correctly.

I don't have any experience with their floor bracket, but this might be worth reading first.

That looks like a bummer. I hope they've fixed that since. Mine bolted in alright. My stock brackets were messed up and broken, so I had no choice but to buy the brackets from Corbeau and make them work. Like I said earlier, they sit a little higher, but that's my only complaint.
