Replacing lift - 2.5 OME to 4.5" ??? - drive shaft considerations
I've got a 99 XJ with a 2.5" OME lift, D30 with an Aussie up front and an Ford 8.8 (open) in the rear. Has an SYE and Tom Wood's driveshaft. I'll be running 33x12.5" MT/Rs primarily for moderate trail use (not a daily and not a towed-in rig).
Two questions:
1 - I'm looking at either the Rubicon Express 4.5" Super-Flex OR the Rusty's XJ Cherokee 4.5" Advanced Kit. Both seem to be solid with good reviews. Any considerations assuming I want to do it right and price is not my primary concern (but I don't want to waste money, either).
2 - With this lift, do I need to replace the drive shaft or anything not included in the kits?
Thanks,
Nate.

seems you could just modify the kit you have to get 2 more inches, new longer shocks etc. etc. then have your current ds retubed longer to fit . the 4.5 ome kit i put on my 98 was just a pumped up 2.5 ome & it rides great too.
