Leigh performance machine. Strokedjeep.com you buy it send its in as a core. Comes out to like 80$ which is pretty good considering how difficult it is to bore to 60

Ya pick up a few more cores! Most break through around 58.5mm. Leigh get thesm to 59mm, usually a 2 week wait..so make sure you have a core.
I have a confirmed 61mm Tb & spacer on my 88. Came from the admin on jeepstrokers..wanna say muddib?...He made the comment of going through about 8cores before finding a good one. I believe its the biggest original renix TB out there.

That would be nice because no one besides Leigh does renix ones now...making the butterfly super thin & beveling the edges is said to help with flow I guess..not sure how much it'll help lol.
On my stroker...when its done, my intake mani, exhaust mani & throttle body will be ceramic coated to help keep the heat down! And I'm going to make my Tb spacer out of UHMV vs this metal one so it doesn't heat up anymore lol. Help keep intake charges as low as possible.

Coat the heat shield unnder the intake heavily and u b good. U could think about wrapping your header but if its not heavy guage tubing it tends together hot enough to eventuality burn a hole in the metal under the wrap. I'm gonna grab a tb at pick n pull and see what I can do. 1 mm is about .039 inches so I'm thinkin 58 mm + .030 or so. Close to 59. Stock is 52 so that's still a huge improvement. Bout 1/4 inch in diameter.... Also if u find someone who does it, have the inside of your header ceramic coated

I've got a intake heat sheild..& wrapped headers. My intake manifold is now cool enogh to grab without issue..before you would get a 1st degree burn within seconds! Its still hot, but I can hold my hand on it without fear now!
I followed jeep4.0performance and got my ideas from there!

Hmmmm.... My intake manifold is warm after driving. I can touch it. Several coats of DIY high temp ceramic on the heat shield.... Think there would be decent demand for those throttle bodies? Id doin it on the side after work and could probably do one or two a week. Looking at it now its fairly simple. Just have to do it carefully. While I'm at it spacers wouldn't be hard. I could easily do 10-20 of those.week.

www.strokedjeep.com. He has them in stock to send to you generally and then you send yours back if you don't want any downtime. That said, I know he likes having extra cores around.
I've gotten 3 from him for my Renix Jeeps..
