Put that thing on there st tighten it as tight as you can. Then take a hammer and start tapping around the outside of the pitman arm where it is mounted to the steering shaft. Then tighten some more. Sometimes it doesn't seem like the arm is coming off while you are tightening it but it is.

Do you have an impact gun to really tighten that thing down?
What about a mini torch set just to warm up the pitman arm a little?

No air tools....I have tightened it so tight that the top part of the tool is beginning to warp....used a helper bar. Don't have a torch set either, but I could possibly round one up, how hot do you get it?

I bet if you just whacked the pitman arm on the side while you had it super tight it would all come apart.

I put a wood block on it and whaled on it, it wouldn't budge.

Use the frist one the second one is for tres and if your having trouble getting it off with the puller put some heat on the pitman arm while you got the puller on

Get a small torch and use the pitman arm puller is the best way im sure you can use the pickle fork but the puller is better for it

Careful you can ruin your steering box using heat. Those pullers are crap broke one the other day on a 2500. If all else fails spend the money on a HD puller. They look like a bell rather than that design and will bring it right off.

Just heat the pitman arm from the side and slowly heat it up so you don't melt the seal on the gb

Do what Lead foot said, forget about the wood, hit it with a hammer. The shock of hitting it with a hammer while under pressure will break it loose, every few hits tighten the puller a little more.

I broke two getting mine off. Tighten it as far as it goes, pb blast it, tap it with a hammer, etc. it's a pain
