Removing leaf from RE pack
Has anyone ever removed the bottom leaf of the 3.5in leaf pack. I ask because I have had the lift for 2 years now and it still sits 3/4in higher in the back. I have a .75 in spacer up front with the stock isolator. I don't want to go up any higher in the front because im still on short arms.

Yes, my lower rear leaf was taken out of my RE 3.5" lift about 1-1/2 years ago. It leveled out my XJ and as a bonus it also rides smoother. Does lower the weight you can carry, but this has not been an issue for me since carrying 300+ pounds in back does not happen. Yes, I can still take 4 full size adults no problem.
You might have to take the 3/4" spacers out. But try it first and see how you like it.

I like more flex. What is your guys opinion on reusing the u bolts? They are pro comp ones, only two years old. I took them off and re-torqued them when i added shims for my SYE about a year ago.

just be careful on the very bottom springs as they also prevent a lot of axle wrap. as long as there is another short spring on the bottom than its fine.
