well on my 94 YJ I did a dual diaphragm/MC swap (95YJ came with it) I used the stock prop valve but just removed the o-ring to get 50/50 brake force. I wonder if that would work.

I've used stock and the GC guts. The guts is an improvement.
You don't want 50-50 braking.....

Before I swapped the GC guts into mine (WJ Booster and 8.8) the back end locked up quick. It still wants to lock up before the fronts, but only in extreme conditions. SLAMMING on the brakes at freeway speed the back will lock. But it is very controllable, ease off the brake a hair and it mellows out.
