Default relocating alternator to compressor location?

Yea that would be awesome. You could probley just set it up like a TJ is they have the ac comp on the bottom and alt on top. I wonder if their brackets would work?

I'm tired of hitting puddles and have my alternator get soaked

There's a write up on naxja where he uses a renix alternator bracket and grinds it down and drills a couple holes to make it flush with the ac brakect. The only thing with this set up is the belt barley touches the Mech fan , because of the new belt route

keeping the a/c, whether for a/c or on board air, would be awesome....someone needs to do some trial & error, or find who's done it

this the one u'r talking about?....

he says it still functions properly & no overheating issues, & if the lessened contact on the mech fan pulley is that big of a deal, replace it with an electric fan, & take away a draw on the engine

Im not worried about keeping the coompressor. If I end up wanting a OBA system ill ad a tank and electric compressor

Im going to do this sometime soon
