I think it is, especially if it is the Superior Super 88 kit (not clear if it is) as those are pretty high $; however, keep in mind you will need to regear unless you are running something other than a D30 in front or are going that direction.

I think 4:88s are max for a dana 30.
And if u swap your Dana 30 for something else
you wont have the same lug pattern.

I was just clarifying. dont want anybody trying to put JK gears in non-JK axles. I think the 8.8 axle would end up costing more then its worth. Youre either gonna have to regear it again and the fronts or swap another axle in the front to match the 5.13s. Plus a limited slip is a waste of time and should be changed out for a locker for any real offroad use.

It is the superior super 88 kit. I think its a hell of a deal went and looked at it today. I would want to regear to 4.88 and keep the 30 or maybe upgrade to Dana 44. Does th e Dana have a t on 4.5 lug pattern?

Well I want to regear anyways right now I run stock 30 & 8.25 3.55 gears with 33s. Im leaning towards the 8.8 or beefing up the 8.25. Who's knows lol

You have a C/8.25 and want to spend $525 on a 8.8 that you will either have to change gears in,and add a locker, or swap out the front diff for something that you can run 5.13s in and then probably have to swap gears in the new axle. ( expensive!! )
Unless, the tires you are planning on running are larger than 35s your C/8.25 and D/30 will work, for 33s go with 4.10 - 4.56 gears f/r and alloy shafts. ( and of course your choice of lockers )

My 8.8 was advertised at $400, I bought it for $300 already regeared to 4.56 matching my D30, HD diff cover & set up for a 4 link (that I have no use for). Better condition than my 8.25 that I subsequently sold. I think I got a great deal overall since I didn't have to regear. But I still had to have it modded for an XJ.
The Super 8.8 kit alone is worth the money if you are going to use it, if you already have a matching front or can do the regear yourself (either for the front or the 8.8). Other than that, pass on it. There will be other deals.

I ended up snagging an 8.25 with powertrax noslip locker with 4.56 gears for a really good price. Now I just need to reheat d30 to 4.56
