rear yoke modding...
hey guys!!! saw this thread recently and had a few questions since ive had to deal with it on my jeep and a buddies......
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/re...version-28141/
it looks like a sweet idea and have been thinking about trying it out but had a concern or two... it says the joint gets in a bind it needs to release the pressure.. this bolt seems stronger than the little oe ones holding down the straps ( and i know very little about the workings of a rear end..) so my question is if this bolt doesnt break are there greater chances of damaging the yoke with the larger holes drilled out.. or maybe even the gears..?
and yes.. i know i probably have a deeper problem with my driveshaft angles but thats for my next post.....

ha ha, I don't know that I would call it a project. With a good sharp drill bit and a drill that is worth a damn, it should only take about 30 minutes.
