Hopefully tht link works

Yeah link works. Never seen that done before. Doesnt get rid of the bar pin design and looks like only one side of the mount is bolted. I could see that being a weak point. It would give you a couple inches of extra shock downtravel though.

Id still save your money if you plan to just keep the bar pins. It easy to knock out the bolts if you do break them off. Heres a write up from JF

The descriptions says they make it stronger and do add travel, just figured karnage knew what they were doing, i know i can just punch out the bolts and fit new ones just trying to see wht else there was out there thanks for the link and help

I have run these for about 6 months now. They installed super easy and are very heavy duty (like 1/4 in Plate) the only tricky thing is that you will have to measure for length when ordering new shocks. Though they will give you more down travel, they reduce up travel by the same distance. All in all they do provide for a perminent fix for broken shock bolts.

Alrighty thanks got mine unfroze for now so when i get money to lift it again ill probly order these they say get 2in shorter then your lift

another gimmick product for xjs. just punch the broken bolts out and run new bolts. a proper length shock will give more travel than a 2 inch spacer and a 2 inch shorter shock.

I just ordered a set for my son's XJ, the concept seems legit to me...it will allow you to use stock shocks on a slightly lifted XJ
