Default rear help

so for the life of me i cant find any visual queues as to what rear i have, only info i got from previous owner was "1 ton chevy" it looks awfully similar to a dana 44 but its 8 lug and theres no drain plug as the identifier pics i found,i need to know because my inside right tire is SOAKED in gear oil so im assuming (correction please if wrong) my axel seal needs replacing,if idk the rear i cant find the parts, also the pumpkin is missing half the bolts and slowly leaking (nooo idea why they wouldnt replace the bolts) so need a size on those, when light breaks ill take a photo for you guys. thanks in advance

Chevy used at least 3 one ton rears that I'm familiar with, 14 bolt (several versions), Dana 60 and Eaton. Post a pic and we'll let you know what you got and where to find the BOM so you can get parts.

I'm pretty sure the rear axle is a 14 bolt. Not sure about the front.

It looks like a d60. From a ford not a chevy though seeing how its a drivers drop vs passenger. The info on id'ing it is in one of the links I posted.
