Not sure what this is. Thinking 8.8 with a different cover plate. Been told a 35, 44, and Chrysler 9.25. Any suggestions

Disc brakes? Axle tube size? I'm going to guess either an 8.25 or an 8.8. The 8.8 has a 3.25" axle tube diameter. The 8.25 has 3".

It's had disk breaks. Not sure diameter I'll give you a measurement in a bit. I know the break pads part number is mkd667

Preliminary Googling is showing those fit an 8.8.

Not an 8.25 or D44, FOR SURE... kinda looks like a D35 with aftermarket cover. Can't see enough of the axel to really tell, beyond than

That be a 8.8, how you can tell is how the pumpkin shape, looks just like my old ranger's 8.8.
