Rear brake swap?
I have a 91 Jeep Cherokee and I would like to switch the rear breaks from drum to disc. Is this a good idea?

welcome to the forum. Is it a good idea? If this is your first mod and your brakes work, I suppose I'd ask, "Why?"
Look it up. I'd like to, but my brakes are good. There are cheap junkyard upgrades for the stock system if the components are in good shape.
Is it DD, or a wheeler? What have you done to the rig?
There are too many unknowns, man. Search.. alot.. Both on forum and on your favorite search engine. This topic and most others have been extensively covered.
If stopping is your #1 priority. By all means, upgrade your brakes. Look into the junkyard upgrades if you have a place to source the necessary parts.

I helped my cousin do the swap. Its really easy and he got everything from a zj in the junkyard for 75$ It makes a decent difference but its not huge.
