Default rear brake line droopy cable thingy...

the long saggy brake cable thats on the right side of the c8.25...got it snagged up and basically pulled a bigass log out from a mudhole while trailriding the other day. tried pulling it but its fixd onto the axle by a clip holding thing. anyone know what exactly this is for? i dont ever use my ebrake so if it were to be the ebrake cable, could i just take it out? or is there an easy way of tucking it so it doesnt get caught up on anything?

Mine hangs low too. I use zip ties to tie it up higher, which break after a while then I replace them....

E-Brake cable..... And you SHOULD use your E-Brake OFTEN. Using your e-brake rotates an adjuster in the drum brakes that keeps the shoes close to the drum so the rear breaks work well.

Swap to disc brakes in the rear and you won't have to worry about drums.

The e brake is still a small inner drum on discs.

Is there still an adjuster that you have to be concerned about in reference to the rear brake pads keeping close to the rotor?

Thats what I was getting at...
