im gonna get everything tested tomorrow but i just wanna ask the question anyways..

so i did my ford taurus fan conversion on my 94xj and when it turns on the voltage drops almost to 10 volts while the engine is on..

ive been having problems with the voltage being kinda low even before the fan swap but ive never really had any problems, my jeep starts every time no problems at all but usually it seems like its pretty low .. and now it seems like its dropping way too much...

someone said it could be my battery but idk like i said im gonna get it all tested tomorrow...

i called around for a new alternator just in case for something with more amperage then factory but nobody sells it..

is there something else i can put in there thats more then 90 amps.. i dont have any offroad lights yet and i know when i add them its gonna be pulling some strain on my charging system

My 96 Sport does the same thing when I turn the blower on. Anxious to see possible solutions on your posting.

Got it tested voltqge regulator failed diode passed...

So what are some alternator upgrades that put out more then 90 amps
