A lot of shocks are good for multiple lift heights. For example a shock might be good for 3" to 4.5". Talk to Allen at AOR here in the vendor section. He will get you set up with what you need and at a good price. And rough country shocks ride like a dump truck. My buddy runs the 2.0's and I have the hydro 8000's on the front and neither of them are a nice ride. I can't say much about zone shocks bc I've never used them but I don't see how it can get much worse than RC

They are wayyyyy too stiff. They ride like an unloaded dump truck. That is with RC springs. I have rustys coils which are way smoother and I run the hydro 8000's on mine in the front and they still kinda beat me up. I've heard the zone shocks are much nicer. Firm but not too stiff. With suspension you really get what you pay for. The RC kit isn't very good imo. I have the adjustable lowers and the flex joints suck. Do your kidneys a favor and don't use RC shocks

I've done many Zone 4 1/2" kits. Good ride, not stiff or bouncy. The shocks were the right length too. They have it sorted out.
