Default RC crossmember problem

Pic shows my problem... Its rubbing AND i have the skid so i cant bolt it on in those two holes... What is this and can i take it off without oil pissing everywhere?

Plus the frame side of the skid is nowhere near the OEM holes for the oem skid? Anyone else had this issue?

possibly shot tranny mount. They do sag quite a bit when they are old.

There is a difference in the Ax15 and AW4 members. The AX15's are supposedly a .75" drop.

The simplest thing would be to just grind off the part on the skid

Mounts new... If i cut that away then theres nowhere to mount the skid... And is have to cut it up also... Rather not...

Did you but your RC long arms used? Because on mine the tranny bolts don't hang below the cross member like yours does.

yes... what do you mean? the 4 mount bolts? they may have redesigned it... if i was to keep it i would make a 1/4 plate to weld to the bottom around the nuts with larger holes so a socket can still get on them but they wont sheer off on a rock... ill be selling everything come march/april anyways...

Try contacting RC support perhaps? Maybe you have an AW4 crossmember?
